Japan solved this years ago
In Japan, travellers have relied on takkyubin luggage forwarding for decades. You leave your bags behind and they meet you at your next destination: simple, reliable and wonderfully freeing.
The feeling is called tebura: Japanese for “hands-free” or “empty-handed.”
Tebura brings that idea to European travel. We collect your luggage from your hotel and deliver it to the next one, so the day between cities becomes holiday time again.
That means less carrying, and less of the day spent planning around your bags.

Built in Belgium
Three founders. One suitcase too many.
Tebura is a Belgian company built by Jornt, Pieter and Pez, three founders who believe holidays should come with more time to explore and less luggage to worry about.
Pieter and Jornt first experienced luggage-forwarding services while travelling in Japan. Later, during a ski trip, Jornt and Pez discussed bringing the idea to Europe and decided to take it further. A few weeks later, Jornt convinced Pieter, whom he knew from Vlerick, to join them.
Together, they started Tebura with a simple mission: to give travellers back the hours that would otherwise be spent storing, carrying and keeping an eye on their luggage.
Because a holiday is too short to spend it looking after a suitcase.
Starting close to home
Belgium first. Europe next.
Today, Tebura connects Bruges, Ghent and Brussels, giving travellers more freedom between some of Belgium's most visited cities.
But this is only the beginning.
We are adding partner hotels, new cities and the routes Europe's travellers actually take. Wherever Tebura goes next, the goal stays the same: more time enjoying the trip and fewer travel-day worries.
